Fort Mill, SC Roof Replacement

This roof was old had a lot of algae and was in need of replacement. We removed and disposed all of the existing roofing materials and installed a new Duration Tru Def Shingle (Williamsburg Gray)

Fort Mill, SC Roof Replacement

This homeowner had a roof that was improperly installed by the previous contractor. The roof was highnailed, meaning the nails used to secure the shingles to the roof did not penetrate through both layers of the architectural shingle. The owner also wanted to change the color a bit and give the home a new look and chose a 130mph wind rated Designer Duration Shingle in the Aged Copper color. It is not a color you see every day and looks terrific on the home.

Roof Replacement, Habitat for Humanity, Fort Mill, SC

Roof Roof is so honored and proud o work with Habitat for Humanity on different projects that can help make someone's life better. This particular home owner, is a veteran, and being that Jon Sabo (owner) is also a veteran, this project was very close to his heart. In an interview, he sated the following -

“As a former Marine myself, I’m personally honored that we’re able to partner with Owens Corning and Habitat for Humanity to relieve a big stress for Emanuel,” said Jon Sabo, Owner of Roof Roof of Charlotte. “One of our core values has always been to give back to the communities we serve, and we jumped at the opportunity to be able to give back to someone right in our own backyard.”

Owens Corning Platinum Contractors worked with Habitat for Humanity to provide new roofs to veterans in need. Emanuel B., a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, received his Wednesday as part of the Owens Corning National Roof Deployment Project. This nationwide effort is a way to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them."

This project gave  all of us a great sense of pride, being able to help a brave veteran by creating a beautiful roof, in his favorite color (and mine), Chateau Green. Emanuel was very pleased with his new roof, and the smile on his face when we were finished was worth every minute of work that day!
